TOUR DESCRIPTION

Ice-fields, rushing streams, lovely waterfalls, glacial peaks and towering summits are just a few of the scenic wonders awaiting you in the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park. Ride aboard a Jammer (open-air touring car) during your visit to Glacier National Park and overnight in the Prince of Wales Hotel. Travel the dramatic Icefields Parkway, where snow-capped mountains engulf the landscape and take a snowcoach onto a 1,000 foot thick glacier. A three night stay at the iconic Fairmont Banff Springs hotel lets you explore Bow Falls and the Hoodoos (the "Land of the Sleeping Giants") and take a gondola to breakfast. Cross the Alberta Prairies for a BBQ and day on a ranch, complete with a wagon ride!

Electricity

Like the USA, Canada uses 110 V, 60 Hz. Therefore, it is not necessary to use an adaptor or converter with appliances and devices from the United States.

Electricity

An adaptor (which changes the physical plug) and/or converter (which changes the electric current) are necessary if you plan to use an appliance with voltage different from the standard within the country you are visiting. Please note, if your appliance has dual voltage you may still need an adaptor for the plug. When packing your electronic items for travel, please review the converter electric current level to make sure it is the same or greater than the items you are planning on using. If you plan on utilizing or transporting a sleep apnea machine, please remember to pack an extension cord and adapter plug to ensure proper function.
