Day 1: Branson, Missouri - Tour Begins
Combine the sounds of Blues, Country, and Rock and Roll with an awesome array of spectacular shows for a holiday filled with laughter and soul-inspiring music on this tour of the Music Cities of Missouri and Tennessee. Your tour begins in Branson, often referred to as a “Family-Friendly Las Vegas.”
Day 2: Branson
There is no better way to start your day than with the fantastic entertainment of vocalist and instrumentalist, Doug Gabriel. Later you are treated to a performance by one of Branson’s most popular performers, Shoji Tabuchi, who blends the wholesome values of the heartland with the excitement of New York and Las Vegas. This electrifying production that includes everything from country to classic, showcased in a theatre that is a phenomenon in itself, is something that no visitor to Branson should miss. Tonight you will be treated to the energetic Hughes Brothers Show, featuring country hits and western classics, along with popular Gospel and Broadway standbys. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 3: Branson
Enjoy a full day of leisure in Branson. Your Tour Manager is on hand to recommend various attractions, shows and sightseeing opportunities. Perhaps this morning you would like to partake in an optional tour to Silver Dollar City, a charming re-creation of an 1890’s mining town where you are sure to enjoy the entertainment, exciting rides, authentic crafts and delicious food amidst the splendour of the Ozarks. This afternoon you also have the option to relax or partake in an optional cruise aboard the 1890’s paddlewheel riverboat, the Showboat Branson Belle. This evening you will be treated to a fun-loving show, “Broadway,” at the Branson Variety Theatre. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 4: Branson - Memphis, Tennessee
This morning depart for the city of Memphis, which has been playing the Blues for more than half a century. Upon arrival you will dine on the world-famous Beale Street where you will enjoy appetizing southern delicacies. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 5: Memphis
Put on your blue suede shoes for your visit to Graceland, the palatial home of Elvis Presley. Enter Elvis’ 14-acre estate to visit his home, original business office, trophy building and the Meditation Garden, where Elvis and members of his family have been laid to rest. Later, trace Dr. Martin Luther King’s last steps prior to his assassination, viewing the Mason Temple and Church of God in Christ, where he gave his famous "I have been to the Mountain Top" speech. Top the day off with a memorable stop at the Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum featuring the Smithsonian Institution’s Rock ‘n’ Soul: Social Crossroads exhibition, chronicling the musical and cultural history of this great city. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 6: Memphis - Nashville
Travel to the "Music Capital of the World," Nashville, for what promises to be a highlight of your trip. Tour the historic RCA Studio B, where Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton, Charlie Pride and many more artists recorded their hit songs. You never know…you may have the opportunity to record your own hit. Afterwards, you have reserved seats at the “Grand Ole Opry,” the ultimate venue in the world of country music. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 7: Nashville
A special treat is in store for you today. Next, you will tour the Country Music Hall of Fame. This afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of Nashville hosted by a local guide. Visit the Old Ryman Auditorium, the Parthenon (a full scale replica of the Athenian original), the State Capitol and Music Row. Tonight, a special dinner is in store for you at the famous Wildhorse Saloon where you can dance seven nights a week on a 3,300 square foot dance floor! Today breakfast and dinner will be included.
Day 8: Nashville - Tour Ends
The memories of many unique sights and the sounds of the Music Cities will surely stay with you for a lifetime. Today breakfast will be included. |
