Day 2: Monday, July 14, 2008

Join a local guide for a fascinating tour of the “Big Apple.”  See Greenwich Village, the Wall Street district, Little Italy, Chinatown, the Empire State Building, United Nations, the Chrysler Building, and other time-honored landmarks. A memorable visit to Ground Zero is sure to be a moving moment.  An elegant 3-course lunch is included at the world-famous Tavern on the Green in beautiful Central Park. Next, take a stroll and visit nearby “Strawberry Field” where millions of people come each year to pay homage to John Lennon. This evening, join your fellow travelers for an exciting Broadway show. Today lunch will be included.

Day 3: Tuesday, July 15, 2008

Enjoy breakfast at a traditional New York City diner before embarking on further exploration of the city.  *This morning  visit the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art and explore its fascinating exhibits. * This afternoon, enjoy another remarkable Broadway show followed by dinner. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 4: Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Originally created as a token of international friendship, the Statue of Liberty has become a global symbol of freedom. This inspiring landmark should be on every visitor’s itinerary.  This morning you will visit Ellis Island and see “Lady Liberty” up close.  Later, take some leisure time to relax or explore this amazing city on your own.  Be sure to visit some of the world’s most famous stores, including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue.  *This evening enjoy dinner in one of the world’s most famous ethnic communities, Little Italy, and indulge in some traditional Italian cuisine before attending a fantastic third show! * Today dinner will be included.
