Day 1: Thursday, December 04, 2008 Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - Tour Begins
Get ready for the ultimate vacation. One of the great engineering feats of the 20th century, the Panama Canal accomplished what nature did not by connecting the Atlantic to the Pacific and reducing the 12,000 mile sailing distance between New York and San Francisco by more than 7,000 miles. Your cruise tour begins in Ft. Lauderdale.

Day 2: Friday, December 05, 2008 Ft. Lauderdale - Board Cruise Ship
This morning, glide through the Everglades at speeds up to 35 mph on a propeller-driven airboat amidst the sawgrass trails. A uniquely skilled guide will make stops along the way allowing you to see and learn about the inhabitants of the world's most unique ecosystem. Later, take a leisurely stroll, people watch, sip a cappuccino at an outdoor café, or shop in the chic boutiques along Las Olas Boulevard, a sophisticated mile of fashion, art and sidewalk cafes. This evening you will embark on your Panama Canal cruise aboard Celebrity's Mercury. Blue skies overhead, an aqua sea at the ship's bow and you're on your way to view firsthand the force of vision, engineering and will that is the Panama Canal. Tonight, enjoy dinner on board your ship. Today breakfast and dinner will be included.

Day 3: Saturday, December 06, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
On your first full day of leisure at sea, enjoy the many amenities on board your ship. A vessel shimmering in elegance and grandeur, Mercury will be your host for delightful dining and creative relaxation. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 4: Sunday, December 07, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
Take advantage of the amenities on board your ship. Or, perhaps you'll choose to relax, soak up the sun and do absolutely nothing. The choice is yours. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 5: Monday, December 08, 2008 Cruising - Cartagena, Colombia
Founded in 1533, Cartagena is the picture-perfect Spanish colonial village. A fortress wall surrounds the historic village's pastel-colored architecture, quaint streets and fine cathedrals, containing them like jewels. Stroll through the walled old town (Ciudad Murallada), shop the boutiques housed in what used to be dungeons, and otherwise enjoy a jaunt through a rich history. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 6: Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
With all the amenities of a fine resort, there is always something to do while on board the Mercury. Indulge in abundant activities and choices. Take a class, go for a swim in the pool, improve your bridge game or craft an e-mail to friends back home. Discovery - both of the Panama Canal and of new places within yourself - is the true spirit of world travel. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 7: Wednesday, December 10, 2008 Cruising - Panama Canal - Fuerte Amador, Panama
The motto of the Panama Canal, "The land divided, the world united," comes to life as you cruise this amazing man-made wonder. It's hard to imagine a more fitting motto for what, in no uncertain terms, irrevocably changed the Western Hemisphere forever. For fifty miles the canal transects the exotic emerald jungles of Panama and gives one an appreciation of what a Herculean task it was to build this waterway before the advent of computers and giant earth movers. Fuerte Amador was once off limits to anyone without military security clearance. That is, until it was turned over to the Panamanian authorities. They have found a much better use for the island and Celebrity guests were among the first to be able to take advantage of the island's beauty and serenity. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 8: Thursday, December 11, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
Enjoy another day at sea. Perhaps you'll choose to relax in the impressive AquaSpa and let them transport you to a whole new world of treatments inspired by rituals from exotic cultures. The choice is yours to design your day as you please. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 9: Friday, December 12, 2008 Cruising - Puntarenas, Costa Rica
Located along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, Puntarenas is a great place to see native wildlife ranging from scarlet macaws to the alpha predator of Central America…the jaguar. Surfers from around the world regard this region of Costa Rica as prime surfing waters. As one of the country's leading fishing ports, Puntarenas is the perfect place to enjoy fresh seafood, including ceviche de corvine - bits of fresh fish marinated in lime juice with onions, peppers and spices. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 10: Saturday, December 13, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
The day is yours to do as you please. Perhaps you'll choose an early morning ballroom dance lesson or an evening of cocktails, dancing and conversation, while enjoying the view from expansive floor-to-ceiling windows. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 11: Sunday, December 14, 2008 Huatulco, Mexico
This is indeed a place where recreation and ecology are in perfect harmony. At the foot of the Sierra del Sur Mountains, Huatulco is actually made up of nine distinct bays. The turquoise waters are home to an abundance of sea life and provide a delightful aquatic playground for visitors. On land, shopping and dining establishments are outnumbered only by the number of beaches in the area…thirty to be exact. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 12: Monday, December 15, 2008 Cruising - Acapulco, Mexico
From the people to the bay, sensual Acapulco is known for its beauty. Its world-famous beaches offer up the sun and surf for different agendas, whether you're in the mood for exhilaration or serenity. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 13: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
Enjoy your day at sea as you wish. Consult your onboard daily guide which is delivered to your stateroom to map out activities you won't want to miss. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 14: Wednesday, December 17, 2008 Cruising - Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
This southernmost enclave on the tip of the Baja Peninsula features unearthly rock formations, cantinas owned by rock stars and hundreds of ways to enjoy yourself on, in, under and close to the water. Cabo is also blessed with a coastline that's ideal for kayak exploration, snorkeling, whale-watching or perhaps a rendezvous. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 15: Thursday, December 18, 2008 Cruising - At Sea
Enjoy your last day at sea as you wish. It's a perfect time to explore areas of the ship you have yet to visit, revisit your favorite spots, or simply relax on deck. Today breakfast and lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 16: Friday, December 19, 2008 San Diego, California - Disembark Cruise Ship - Tour Ends
Your cruise tour ends as you disembark your cruise ship in San Diego. Today breakfast will be included.
