Begin your day on an amazing cruise aboard the popular Stern Wheeler, Discovery, an unforgettable journey showcasing Alaska’s diverse culture and rich history. The remainder of your day is at leisure to discover Alaska’s second largest city on your own.

Day 3: Saturday, September 12, 2009
Fairbanks - Denali National Park

Depart Fairbanks for a scenic motorcoach ride to Denali National Park. The Princess Wilderness Lodge has five great dining options and many unique shops to visit. Tonight, enjoy an entertaining evening at the Music of Denali Dinner Theater which tells the story of the first ascent of Mount McKinley. You’ll find yourself clapping and singing along with the talented cast which includes Walter Harper - the first Alaska native to set foot on the summit of Mount McKinley. The actors and actresses do double-duty as your servers for a hearty all-you-can-eat meal of salmon and ribs. Today dinner will be included.

Day 4 : Sunday, September 13, 2009
Denali

This morning, meet up with a park expert and embark on a natural history tour into Denali National Park. This guided tour will take you beyond where private vehicles can travel and teach you about the six million acres that make up this pristine wilderness. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but you may be lucky enough to view some wildlife as well! The remainder of your day is at leisure to perhaps choose an option or simply enjoy the hotel and surrounding area.

Denali Rail Station - Whittier - Board Cruise Ship

Transfer to the rail station and ride the Denali Express direct to Whittier for an unforgettable journey. As you relax in the Domed car the views are so spectacular that you feel as though you can touch the sky. The scenery gets better and better with each passing mile and each car has its own private narrator. Be on the lookout for bald eagles, bears, whales and more! Once in Whittier you’ll embark your ship to begin your 7-night cruise aboard Princess’s Coral or Island. The Coral Princess is a luxurious way to escape completely, with all the amenities for an amazing cruise. It features an impressive array of dining options, such as specialty restaurants Sabatini's Italian restaurant and the Bayou Cafe & Steakhouse, as well as a European-style casino, a cigar lounge and retro martini bar. Cruising - College Fjord

Your ship cruises through College Fjord. Located in scenic Prince William Sound, College Fjord is home to several glaciers named for East Coast universities, including Harvard and Yale. Carved by ancient glaciers, the fjord’s steep sea cliffs rise above the water and are covered with dense strands of giant trees. The area is a haven for wildlife including a variety of marine and land mammals. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Cruising - Glacier Bay

Cruise through Glacier Bay today, a treasure trove of tidewater glaciers and scenic coastal islands that is Alaska at its best. Here travelers can go back in time to the Ice Age to see the faces of glaciers whose retreat over just two centuries has sculpted a 65-mile long fjord. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Cruising - Skagway

Relive Alaska's Gold Rush days in this “Gateway to the Klondike” and home of the famed Chilkoot Trail. In Skagway, Alaska’s past lives on and cries of “gold in the Yukon!” can still be heard. Explore this historic town in its spectacular natural setting. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Cruising - Juneau

From massive scenic mountains to historic buildings, explore Juneau, Alaska’s gorgeous capital city with something for everyone. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 10: Saturday, September 19, 2009
Cruising - Ketchikan

Your port of call today is Ketchikan, known as the “Salmon Capital of the World” and the “City of Totems.” Located on the tranquil Revillagigedo Island, Ketchikan is home to the world’s largest collection of totem poles. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Cruising - Inside Passage

A wonderful day of sightseeing is in store for you as your ship sails along the amazing Inside Passage, an extensive stretch of land known for its natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Take advantage of the many amenities of your ship or just relax and enjoy the view. You will be awe-struck with this natural wonder. Today breakfast, lunch and dinner will be included.

Day 12: Monday, September 21, 2009
Vancouver, B.C. - Disembark Cruise - Seattle, WA Airport

Your cruise ends in the vibrant city of Vancouver. You may choose an optional city tour which features Stanley Park, famous for its Indian totem poles, Chinatown, and Gastown, home to the world-famous steam-powered clock. Or, take time to explore this lovely city on your own. Next, board your coach for your drive to the Seattle Airport for an overnight stay. Today breakfast will be included.

• This tour requires average physical activity. You should be in good health, able to climb stairs and walk reasonable distances, possibly over uneven grounds and cobblestone streets.
