Experience It!
Bar Harbor, Maine

Experience the mystique of Bar Harbor! With its rock-bound coast and soaring granite cliffs, the village lies nestled on the east side of Mount Desert Island. A stonewall-lined and tree-covered road leads you into the village, once a summer playground for the wealthy and famous. Today, Bar Harbor is still celebrated as a quiet, beautiful resort village away from the stresses of big city living. Comprised of over 28,000 beautiful acres, with Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain in its backyard, Bar Harbor is a montage of shops, restaurants tucked away in old homes and inns, 19th century summer cottages, and secluded spots that add up to give you a taste of Maine’s rugged, wind-bitten “downeast” experience.
